White Dishes For Wedding Registries & Ever After
In the spring I attended the shower of a dear friend’s daughter and was so happy to see her open a beautiful new set of white dishes, my absolute favorite! I just feel like white dishes are classic, clean, and can be added-to without looking mismatched. Over the years I’ve collected many different white pieces of dinnerware, serveware and bakeware and love the cohesive look when pulling it all out for buffet style dinners or quiet holiday meals. In a family that now consists full of basically all grown men I may be the only one who appreciates it, but that’s all that matters, right?! Starting out with that first box of white dinnerware when you’re young and green turns into years of collecting without having to worry about discontinued styles as you build a cupboard full of always in-style chic classics. And SO MUCH more practical than china! I started out, undisclosed years ago, with the Great White Collection from Potterybarn and it was my best registry decision as a rookie. It’s been so easy to build on and hasn’t lost it’s charm after all of these years. Currently, however, I’m drooling over some of the organic designs I’m seeing everywhere. Here are some of my favorites and wish list pieces that would be perfect for a gift or a registry this summer. It’s a nice day for…….white dinnerware!!
